GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (GTC)
 

1. Scope
   The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts, services, and other agreements between: Mia-Sophie Scheurmann and the recipient of services (customer), hereinafter referred to as the client.
    

2. General Information
   The General Terms and Conditions are accepted by the client through booking Rebalancing treatments and participating in yoga courses and apply for the entire duration of the offer.
    

3. Information on Booking and Services
   The offered Rebalancing treatments are not therapy in a medical sense. Each client is responsible for themselves before, during, and after the Rebalancing treatment. The same applies to the offered yoga courses.
   By booking, the client confirms that they feel mentally and physically healthy and can participate in the Rebalancing treatment or yoga course. Rebalancing treatments and yoga courses are solely for well-being and relaxation. They do not constitute therapy and should not replace a doctor's visit. No diagnoses are made or healing promises given. All Rebalancing treatments and courses are exclusively for disease prevention or health maintenance. All Rebalancing treatments by Mia-Sophie Scheurmann are conducted in agreement with the client, who is obligated to provide truthful information about their health condition and the consequences of the treatment. The client commits to independently reporting any changes in their health condition before each treatment. All information obtained during treatments is subject to statutory confidentiality by Mia-Sophie Scheurmann.
   By booking, the client expressly declares to have read and understood these conditions.The client agrees to the electronic storage and processing of their personal data exclusively for internal purposes in accordance with GDPR.
    

4. Cancellations
   For Rebalancing treatments: Appointments are considered fixed after registration by phone or email. Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed time.
   For cancellations on the day of the treatment up to 12 hours before the agreed time, 50% of the costs for the agreed treatment will be charged. For later cancellations or no-shows, the full price of the treatment will be charged.
   For cancellations of individual yoga sessions: No fee is charged for cancellations 24 hours in advance. For shorter notice cancellations, I reserve the right to invoice 50% of the fee
   For cancellations of yoga course series: No fee is charged for cancellations 10 days in advance. For shorter notice cancellations, I reserve the right to invoice 50% of the fee. Alternatively, the client has the option to find a replacement participant for their booked spot.
    

5. Prices and Payment Terms
   For Rebalancing treatments: the amount is due immediately after receiving the service.
   For yoga courses: the amount is to be paid in advance.
   Payment can be made in cash, via PayPal, or bank transfer to my account.
    

6. Disclaimer
   Mia-Sophie Scheurmann's liability for any damages incurred by the client due to non-compliance with these GTC or through the client's own fault is excluded.
   By submitting a request to participate in a yoga course or Rebalancing treatment, the client confirms that they have been informed of the following: We do not provide any medical or naturopathic diagnoses in our response to your inquiry, nor do we recommend medical or naturopathic therapy or medications or their discontinuation.
   The client is aware that a Rebalancing treatment by Mia-Sophie Scheurmann only takes place to support medical, naturopathic, or psychotherapeutic measures, and any questions can only be answered under these conditions. Questions are answered to the best of our knowledge. No liability is assumed for any direct or indirect physical, material, or ideal damages of any kind that could result from answering and implementing the response by the client.
   By booking a Rebalancing treatment or participating in a yoga course, the client confirms that they have been informed of the following: The applied practices are "accompanying" and not "medical-therapeutic" activities. The Federal Constitutional Court has ruled that it is not necessary to be a naturopath or doctor to promote a patient's self-healing powers (March 2, 2004, AZ 1 BvR 784/03). A Rebalancing treatment is at the client's own responsibility. If there is suspicion of a serious mental or physical illness, they are obligated to consult a doctor, naturopath, or psychotherapist.
   
   As Rebalancing treatments can only work in an accompanying and supportive manner, discontinuation of existing conventional medical, psychotherapeutic, or naturopathic therapies as well as discontinuation of medication treatments due to Rebalancing or energy work by Mia-Sophie Scheurmann is strictly rejected.
   
   She does not criticize or reject conventional medicine or other forms of therapy. She respects every other basis of conviction, even if it should not be her own. Rebalancing and energy work never replace the treatment of a doctor, naturopath, or psychotherapist!
   Furthermore, Mia-Sophie Scheurmann is not permitted for ethical, moral, and legal reasons to make healing promises or diagnoses of a medical, naturopathic, or subtle nature. She does not recommend or prescribe medications or alternative substances such as Schüssler salts, globules, or similar. This remains in the area of responsibility of a doctor or naturopath.
   
   Mia-Sophie Scheurmann assumes no liability for any direct or indirect material, health, psychological, or ideal damages of any kind that could arise from the application of Rebalancing during the treatment time and/or afterwards. Each treatment is at the client's own risk and responsibility.The treatment methods offered on this website are alternative procedures. All statements about properties, effects, and indications are based on the findings and experiences within the applications themselves, without any promise of healing or guarantee of healing, relief, or scientific validity.
    

7. Final Provisions
   German law exclusively applies to the contracts.
    

8. Severability Clause
   The invalidity of one or more provisions of these GTC does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.In place of the invalid provision, a replacement provision corresponding to or closely approximating the meaning and purpose of the contract shall apply, which the parties would have agreed upon to achieve the same economic result if they had known of the invalidity of the provision.
